I was surprised at how well this actually cools the Pi 4, I saw the difference immediately and it's very quiet too.

I ordered this cooling fan to keep my smart mirror cool in a enclosed space, where passive cooling is not an option. The basic concept of the product is good and it works well...sometimes. The CPU of the Pi remains between 38-42C under load. However there are many issues with the product...My Pi is orientated vertically, somehow the the sink keeps dropping from the board... as the Pi is hidden i cant directly see that... i only see the CPU temp to climb.... I cant keep taking the mirror off the wall to fix/check the fans, hence for this reason the product is unreliable. The other issue is the fans are loud and when i turn the mirror with the Pi to vertical position they start to vibrate. It is audible and also if i touch the Pi i can feel it... though this is not affecting the cooling performance. It is possible that this vibration is causing the sink to drop. Maybe it needs something more then glue to secure the fans/sink to the board. Unfortunately i will have to find another solution to cool my Pi.

Not sure how this device is supposed to attach to two IC’s of different heights. The interface material is too thin. I fitted my own thicker squidgey heat sink interface material to sort this.
