“This is a brilliant piece of kit. Before I had this my Pi 4B ran warm and occasionally hot in it's aluminium Pi 4 case.
With this dual fan heatsink it now runs at optimal temperature 99% of the time and the fans are practically silent.
Not only that but it all fits in the original case.
I may get a bigger case and the fan control board just for fun but for now this is perfect.”
“They seem to be doing the job fine and are very quiet, but you have to be careful how tightly you torque down the screws, as even snugging them up just a little causes the fan blades to bind. I'm not sure if they are binding on the fan cases due to flex in the plastic or fouling on the heatsink below.”
