“Works as advertised.
Seems to have blue coloured USB 2.0 ports.
Cable is short and hardwired.
Mine was not very well manufactured - one of the ports didn't line up very well with the hole in the casing.
Doesn't seem very sturdy.”
“Very useful addition to my Raspberry Pi 3B+, because now I can connect several power-hungry usb devices - like usb webcams - to it, without causing undervoltage to my Pi.”
“The hub works fine.
Would be more useful to see technical specifications for input power supplies e.g. whether a 1A micro-USB is sufficient or whether you need another Raspberry Pi power supply rated at 2.5A.
A simple wiring schematics of how to connect the hub to a Raspberry Pi & an external hard drive would make it clearer.”
“Compact 4 port hub that works well with the full range of Pi's
If I have a criticism it's that the cable used to connect the Hub to the Pi is a little on the stiff side. The Hub itself only weighs 50grams and Pi's are hardly heavyweights so getting them to sit tidily together on the desk can be a bit of a challenge.
Recommended.”
