I was missing the specifications about the IR leds:
Power consumption, the dark/bright trigger level and how to adjust it, etc.
The ir leds can't be switched by software. They are switched by suround brightness level which can be adjusted via potentiometers. That's okay - but you have to know it. :)
If you put a specification to this product everything is absolutely well.
