“Be aware if you buy this camera that it will not work through a glass window! All you see is the reflection of the LEDs! I purchased this to to a time lapse of foxes at night but was very disappointed. In daylight the photos are tinged well red.”

“Perfect for my hedgehog cam in a feeding station. Works with MotioneyeOS easily and has excellent short focal length.”

“the picture is great quailty and the IR works well in the dark and has decent range for the size, howerver be aware that this can not be used in an enclosed case due to heat build up. also it wont work from behind glass as the IR reflects off the glass as it gets darker obsuring the camaras ability to capture night vision. other than that its a good product.”

“Bought to use as a security cam for which it's ideal with a very useful field of view. The daytime picture has that Infra Red false colour look about it and the image is slightly "soft" (i.e it's not particularly sharp) Focus to an extent can be adjusted but it never truly becomes sharp. In low light conditions the two IR leds automatically illuminate and objects out to 15 feet(ish) can be recognised. At night, I did see some banding on the video image possibly because both Leds draw their power from the Pi supply. Would I buy another? Yes.”

“This camera does pretty much what it says on the tin - a wide fisheye field of view with excellent night vision. It achieves that with the two very powerful IR emitters either side of the camera. They're so powerful they may cause issues - such as the board warming up and misting the inside of a clear lidded project box. Or them reflecting so badly the camera can't actually see through the lid properly. They are detachable and can be moved to a different location with appropriate wiring. Note that the additional power for them is drawn from the Pi so a normally appropriate PSU may now not be up to the task. With all this in mind however, it's still a great little camera. Just be prepared to work around the quirks.”

“I am amazed with the quality of this item, for such a small size it really packs a punch! I would recommend to anyone wanting a NV camera to get this! Wide angle camera really does help too!”
