“Simple replacement for the existing Pi Camera, just plug in and go. Gives a much wider field of view and adjusts for brightness automatically, although having a brough source somewhere in the grand will darken the rest of the image. Could probably have adjusted using the raspistill settings but was just doing a quick proving test. Shame it will need a new case.”
“The image produced by this camera/lens is very good, an extreme wide angle.
The trouble is, don't let the kids build it as the ribbon cable is part of the camera and can't be replaced (like other cameras) if it gets torn - on my second one!”
