“I used this to make a security camera after a recent intruder. Good value for the resolution. Best mounted in a dedicated box; ideally with a Pi Zero 2 W. Otherwise requires a little ingenuity to mount elegantly. Compatible with the Pi 2B that I was using.”
“Well, it works, but the quality isn't "excellent" - in particular, there's a fair amount of electrical noise (possibly as the ribbon connector is very close to the Pi in the case), which is visible as colourised artefacts in the images.
Fascinatingly, the flex is "upside-down" to mount the ZeroCam in the Official case, and so it needs bending into a S-shape, unless you place the camera on the back of the case (possibly a better choice).
But all in all I'm happy it does what it's meant to do.”
