“Really small sensor that would fit in almost every project, i did a plant pot camera, hacking a swedish furniture shop small plastic plant. I used a pi zero, that camera and motioneyesOS. fully statisfied”
“I really like the Zero Cam.
It gives a great quality image, unbelievable for such a tiny camera lens.
It's also simple to fit and set up (enable it in raspi-config) - the software to take photos with it is already installed on Raspbian, so you can be up and running in no time.
Things I found less than optimum: the cable is quite short and somewhat delicate. The camera suffers from flare if the sun shines on it - a DIY hood of some sort would sort that though.
Otherwise though it's a great little camera and opens up all sorts of creative possibilities for the Pi Zero.”
“Excellent works really well. I used the Noobs setup to start, being beginner, then from some research, put on the RPi Cam Web Interface software. It works really well . No problems setting up just followed the instructions.
Mounted the Pi Zero and camera in the Zeroview holder.
Set up to record Sunrise each morning.
Just need some Sun now !”
