“I mean yes it's a SNES Controller, and yes it works and gets the job done. But compared to the original controller it's simply a true disappointment. You can find the project that I used it for here. https://www.hackster.io/joel-helbling/the-pi-0-console-204a1c
What was a true frustration, is that the wires that connect the Controller's board with the USB Cable are in the wrong colour. After some research I found out that the green cable acts as positive data and the white one as negative. I re-soldered the wires to the Pi three times until I found out that the cables were switched (green was negative and white was positive)
It still gets the job done and it works. The buttons are "fine" but the D-Pad is very slow and mushy. I wouldn't recommend this if you're thinking about using this controller for a long time.”
“Bought these to go with Retropie, works great with the SNES emulator.
Lighter than the original SNES controllers. They bring back great memories of Super Mario Kart!”
