“Responsive and accurate, turns the Pi into a great embedded computer.
I’m using mine for the British Amateur TV Club’s Portsdown TV Transmitter project”
“I love this case, it was easy to assemble and would've been perfect, if not for the fact I was using the Raspberry Pi 4B. If you haave a 7" touchscreen and anything other than a 4th Gen Pi, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.”
“This is not compatible with the pi and screen if you use the little cable to connect the screen and the pi. They shd tell you stuff like that on the website.”
“I tried another one and it was a royal pain. This one was simple. If you have the touchscreen this is a hidden gem! You can't just have an exposed motherboard. Well worth it.”
“My screen was originally fitted with a display frame. After the lugs on the frame got broken I went for a case. The frame had to be removed to allow the screen to fit the case. The sticky tape is more resilient than I anticipated causing the touch screen to crack and is no longer touch sensitive. I purchased a short MicroUSB power cable to do away with GPIO power connections to tidy fitting up. That did not fit and could not be used. The cutout holes for screws and connectors were difficult to get lined up. A little more clearance would have been useful. Apart from my assembly problems it is quite a nice looking unit with a good viewing angle when standing”
