The fitting of the display can be a bit fiddly when it comes to getting everything aligned as the screen is quite a snug fit into the mount. However that is a good thing as it makes for a nice sturdy fit. When fitted with a Pi3 there is even less clutter as you do not have a wireless dongle sticking out of the side. Comments have been made about the lack of access to the SD card when assembled (there is none). This case / frame should really be considered a "finished project case". By this I mean that this is what you use when you have finished developing / configuring your project and want to wrap everything up in one tidy package that you will not meddle with for a while. If you are still developing your project you will need access to everything and that is not really what this case is all about. The vertical tilt is fixed as a part of the case design. My project sits on the desk next to me and I have found that the angle is a tad too vertical meaning that the screen is a little darker (but completely readable) at this angle as it gets close to the limit of the viewing angle of the screen itself. Of course if it was a little further away or placed on a shelf this would no longer be a problem. Do not consider this a fault as the designers "cannot please all the people all the time"; it is more something to keep in mind when planning how you intend to use it. A suggestion would be to supply an adapter that lets you alter the position of power jack socket so that you plug in from the rear rather than having the power cable emerging vertically from the top. However, overall this is pretty much the case I have been waiting for ever since the touchscreen was released.

Works like a charm, great display, good resolution. Could be a bit cheaper and I hope it will be in the future :)

Really good case, would have got five stars but it takes s fair bit of fiddling to get Pi screen in and the sd card can't be changed without removing the case from the screen completely.

To my opinion the best case for the Raspi and the 7" touch screen on the market. It gives good value for money. But unfortunately it can not be used HAT's mounted on the Raspi. I suggest a new version where HAT's can be mounted and a USB cable can be used for power supply.

I originally bought a laser cut plastic frame but decided the exposed circuit boards and cables would mean that I would eventually break something, either from accidentally pulling cables our or giving the board a static shock if I picked it up the wrong way. The laser cut frame also had a leg that obstructed 2 usb ports. In the end I decided to get this enclosed case and it exceeded my expectations. The holes line up perfectly, the header cables all fit under the lid, and there is a small gap between the rear lid and the frame which is great for wiring up other gpio buttons and sensors. I was also surprised to find wall mounting holes under the lid which is a nifty feature that adds more functionality and possibilities. Very easy to assemble. No obstructions. Overall a tidy and well thought out case. Very happy with it.

Case is very good and works with my pi 3, it has required a little setup to get correct screen orientation, (adding lcd_rotate=2, to the /boot/config.txt file in raspbian to rotate the screen 180 to match the case being oriented so it standup). It has a clip-on back cover to allow easy access to the pi board and gpio. Only problem is you have to remove the case to change the sd card. I have velcro'd a battery to the right side of back of the case, as you cannot fit one inside the case. Best case I have seen for the best screen on the raspi
