“Great kit! Fun to build especially after I found this https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2353479. Although my print settings meant this took most of the day to print all of the parts fitted perfectly and I soon had the Pi-Bot up and running. Just need to tinker with the code a bit to tune the motors and stop it bashing into the furniture. Many thanks.”
“I'm doing a university degree in Computing and IT and have learned some python coding in the module I'm doing. My family bought me the rPi for Christmas and it's tied in quite well as my next module is all about linux. I received EduKit 1 and 2 for Christmas with the rPi also.
Overall, it has helped when learning python in my uni studies. I am definitely more of a pragmatic learner so being able to see the results come to life in these kits has helped expand my knowledge all the more.
I thought I'd give the robot a go too. (I called the robot Jeff and I'm gonna see if I can build some arms for it. :D) It's so cute! My parrot rides around in it. I made the box a chassis but I'm thinking perhaps I should get a mini motorbike chassis instead so the parrot looks cooler and gets to go to all the cool parties.
