I bought this product for a friend with an additional Pi Zero W for X-mas, but I was let down by Royal Mail. I ordered Friday 18 December 2020, expecting it to arrive Monday or Tuesday, but it seems that they sent this to a wrong city on Monday, then another city on Tuesday, nothing happened on Wednesday, then a city close to my home on Thursday 24th and has not arrived yet! Seems that this present is going to arrive AFTER X-Mas. This service should not be called Royal Mail Tracked 24 but Royal Mail Tracked never!

This is fantastic. Never having programmed anything remotely robotic, the kit was great quality and following the online instructions meant it was challenging and fun to learn. The programs and kit allow for further fiddling about too.

You get what you pay for, I had to do a little work to get the wheels onto the motor stub axles. Also the motors rotate at slightly different rates, resulting in my robot not being able to travel in a straight line. The ball bearing jockey wheel is really small and therefore almost useless without padding it out a lot. The motor controller and other items are excellent.

Fantastic kit. Loved it. Box can be used as a chassis. I had lots of fun building it and also getting back to some python coding. At the end I've managed to connect the robot with two BBC micro:bits (bought separately) and using one of them as a wireless remote. I felt proud of myself that day when I showed it to my small children and it worked :)

Everything bar the batteries and the Pi well packaged and ready for this weekend’s project. Thinking of buying another as it will make a great and inexpensive Christmas gift for grandson (and son-in-law)
