“I purchased a raspberry pi and joined a futurelearn course on physical computer programming. I also purchased 2 camjam edukits #1& 2.
The course is excellent and so far I used leds, programmed traffic lights, programmed the buzzer and the button.
Kit #2 is in the advanced lectures to come but I am very happy with the kits. I look forward to using kit #2. They are so cheap, I know of nothing cheaper.
The computer is only €35. The cheapest Computer in the world.

“A basic circuit set, compatible with the Raspberry Pi computer. The set includes a "Breadboard", three coloured LEDs, a buzzer, a button and four resistors with a selection of jumper cables to connect them together and to the Raspberry Pi computer.
I bought this set, for my nephew, who is 7 years old. He likes it but did require help.
Instructions for this kit can be found online. I have included a picture which also has some items from another CamJam EduKit (#2) like bigger LEDs and an electric thermometer.
They're great for teaching the basics with hands on work.”
