“I'm a 34 year old web developer and i've always wanted to learn electronics. I've had a Raspberry pi sitting in a box for ages that i got as a gift.
This was a fantastic starter kit and I found it was a great entry into the world of Raspberry Pi projects. The kit got delivered safely and very quickly. And all the parts accounted for, in working order.
The instructions where pretty clear and easy to follow except for 2 comments i have as a new user.
1. The LEDs gets explained well on the physical photo but there was no introduction to the diagram LED to show which side was the anode and cathode. (I put the LEDs in the wrong way haha)
2. I think the firsr circuit should be just 1 LED to help with debugging what could be wrong.
I had to watch some extra youtube videos to figure out my mistake. I did have a huge amount of fun though and did a happy dance when the LED turned on. Would recommend this kit for anyone wanting to get started.”
