It was quite interesting and helpful, but I was left with two significant unanswered questions at the end: 1. why were there no shebang directives in the sample scripts so that I could easily run them from the command line?; and 2. when do you need real pull-up/pull-down resistors, and when are the built-in pull-up/pull-down capabilities of the Pi sufficient?”
