“The hub is OK but some things (such as the wireless dongle, also bought from PiHut) work better plugged into one of the Pi's 2 USB sockets.
I remember seeing a different model on sale (from PiHut, I think) where each USB exit had an on-off switch, this would be cool in terms of low power use. It also looked a bit more robust than this one.”
“A cute little hub with PSU. Comes with a cable for the input connection. Worked fine but I noticed that it powers the Pi when the Pi's PSU is off. This means that both PSU's are powering the Pi in normal use - not too sure that this is such a good idea but this has not caused a problem for either the Pi or the hub. I would buy another if I needed one.”
