“I bought 3 different USB hubs from the local computer store, and none of them worked. The first one I bought wasn't powered, and the devices I connected to it just wouldn't work. So I knew I needed something powered. Then I bought one that was powered, but I didn't know the Raspberry Pi 3 didn't like USB1.1 devices plugged in through a USB3.0 Hub. So that didn't work either. The last one I bought was a 4-port powered USB2.0 hub, but it failed to be recognized through the Pi's OS. So after spending weeks trying to find one that worked, I decided to go with this PiHub 7-port version. I should have done that from the start, as it worked perfectly the first time. I will definitely recommended it to anybody looking to add a USB hub to their Pi 3's. Very Happy! (sorry I don't have any photos)”
