“I have used Luxury Wood Company for several months now and the first few deliveries of wood pellets were great, good price and burnt well. However the last load of Flame Plus have left large deposits of clinker on the fire plate which has caused the boiler to cut out several times a day. We had to call out our heating engineer to reset the boiler and the constant fault has now stopped but I now have to remove this clinker build every other day to keep the boiler working. This is really annoying and disappointing as Flame Plus have been fine before this. The engineer has spoken to his go to expert who said that in his experience (considerable) clinker build up in always due to too much bark in the pellets. I realise that wood pellets are are variable, natural product but this is not good. I just can’t afford to use Flame Plus again. Not sure how much this is Luxury Wood Company’s fault, more down to Flame Plus’ manufacturing process, but I bought from LWC so this review has to be for them. Now on the search for another reasonably priced alternative pellet.”
