“The wood is good, but the delivery took well over a week and there was zero communication. No contact from the courier to arrange delivery. When I rang LW to find out where my order was, they simply told me to chase the courier and gave me a number that rang out with no option to leave a message. Eventually the wood turned up unannounced, so it was lucky someone was in.”

“This is my third crate of firewood. For the first two I gave five stars, they were crates of split logs. This last crate consists of split branches not much bigger than the kindling I use to start the fire. So disappointed. The three stars awarded is for delivery. The crate was placed next to the wood shed.”

“I don't know if i had a rogue batch but the logs do not burn well, look quite damp compared to my usual supplier and the size of some of the logs are too large to fit in my log burner so got to find someone who can split them down. Really dissapointed.”

“Following my first delivery late last year, (when I asked for a morning delivery and notification of when the delivery would take place) - which didn't happen and as a pensioner I had to transport that delivery on my own. On this, the second occassion I requested the same. This time the delivery was worse as it turned up at approx. 1400hrs with no prior notification. Which I found extremely galling.”

Hi Johnny, we are sorry for the bad experience you had with Pallet Force, however they operate on an all day, economy service. Any specific requirements are dealt only as requests and are not guaranteed. If an AM service is a must for you, we can arrange that at an extra cost at the time of placing the order.

“Very pleased with every aspect of this purchase. After years of buying loose logs from various local "suppliers" I bit the bullet and paid the extra for the quality logs. I believe it actually works out to be the financially viable option. The logs are drier, burn longer, easier to light and burn hotter. Many thanks and will purchase again.”
