“The matjes are the only item I have used so far and they were excellent in my herring salad. However! A word about your courier; I was waiting in my flat for the delivery at the allotted time. However, no one rung the bell. A few ours later someone discovered the parcel outside the main door of the flats. The matjes were already beginning to saw. I used them immediately . You will have to impress on your couriers that given the nature of the merchandise, just leaving a parcel outdoors is not an option. I was in, waiting to be contacted via intercom. This did not happen.”

“Being a Dutch person who misses Maatjes Herring very much in the UK, I found this on the internet and thought to give it a try. Not holding up much hope, I was very pleasantly surprised by the wonderful quality of the herring, the lovely taste and the texture. They were absolutely delicious and needless to say, I ate 3 of the 4 I ordered immediately! I will certainly order them again.”
