The upgrade process what not completely transparant, but after some fiddling it worked.

Reference is evolving. I'm not making much use of the new features at the moment, but they are nice to have anyway. Indespensable piece of software in my studio, meanwhile.

The new upgrade adds some seriously useful features, especially the new translation check. A few useful things have gone walkabout though, like the button for switching between monitors and headphones, and the mono button hopefully these will reappear in future updates. It remains an essential piece of software for anyone serious about mixing.

I recently upgraded to SoundID from Reference 4 Studio and I still have no idea how the software performs as I still have never seen it in action. It appears as a system wide but does not show up in Pro Tools. I have submitted two support tickets and still have not received a response from Sonarworks. I was able to find a post on a forum instructing how to eliminate the numbers from the name on the containing plugin folder, but that endeavor proved fruitless. Guess I'm stuck waiting for an update from Sonarworks. I love Reference 4 and I'm sure that I'll love SoundID, once they work out the bugs, I have no idea how long that will be though, since I've been left to guess as to when an update may arrive. Anyway, If someone from Sonarworks happens to see this, I would greatly appreciate any potential solutions to this issue. Thanks Mark

I won’t write a long detailed thing here. The measurement software is great, the actual software you have to interact with after that is glitchy, non responsive half the time and unpredictable. When it’s working it’s working ,when it’s not it’s frustrating and makes me want to invest in an outboard dsp based equivalent. I’ve used sonarworks on 4 different operating systems on 2 computers Mac and PC there is issues in all scenarios, nothing close to flawless. I will say the headphone correction is unbeatable and I’m unaware of any equivalent.

Simple pas de soucis sous Windows 10 x64. Juste que si les interfaces I/O pouvait être triée alphabétiquement ce serait pratique quand on possède un système motu à 96i/o

I am very satisfied with the upgrade, more stable and more complete, at least for monitors, for headphones I prefer Slate VSX, I think to be at the top, you should add simulations after headphone correction ( air pods, high-end headphones, studio, car, etc.. ...) that said I absolutely do not regret my purchase, SoundID is permanently in my DAW and on my audio system in windows, my room is treated acoustically, I have excellent monitors, and with SoundID corrections, the sound is just perfect!
