I haven't had the time to work on reference 4 to compare it with SoundID reference, because the update came after one week, but overall I am quite satisfied with this app. It really helps me to Mix and master my productions to a higher level.

Did upgrade for the frequency limitation feature. Unfortunately there are still bugs and support doesn’t respond for a week now.

After demoing I decided to purchase the upgrade before the trial period ran out. but at the end of the trial period it stopped working. I cannot open either the app or the DAW plugin, absolutely nothing happens when I try to, no error prompt, nothing. I've tried removing and reinstalling at least 8 times without any result. I looked everywhere in the FAQ for help, nothing could be found. I wrote an email to customer service and have yet to be replied to, 4 days have passed. I tried scrolling through Sonarworks facebook page and found a lot of other people having issues with the new program. Since I wrote to CS I have received several newsletter emails and this one regarding my satisfaction of the product, and for every email I get more annoyed that you still haven't replied and helped me fix the problem or return my money.

I already used Reference, did the switch. Nothing but problems. I have to switch and restart soundD like hell , to get sound on my pc. The 'restart' feature does nothing, and soundID quits for no reason. Was also hoping that the new software would allow us to correct fysical outputs too. Can't use my Antelope virtual mixrack with correction. Very dissapointed here... Peter

SoundID is just soooo full of bugs - it's unstable and glitchy as could be. As far as "TRUST" in my playback system, there is just no way I can be confident because of how unstable this build is. Hopefully Sonarworks is working to address these many issues, but at this moment, I feel like I got ripped off.

the update is a real bonus. The sound is more detailed, the stereophonic placement more accurate, especially in linear mode. the contribution of the adaptable equalisation is a real advantage that allows you to refine the automatic settings to your liking. But, and it is very annoying when you are well equipped (Universal Audio + Focal), there is still this problem on the desktop version of the untimely cracklings which literally rot the listening. By switching to 96 khz I have drastically reduced the phenomenon. It's not cool ! no problem in the DAW fortunately. With the asio, it would be nice to be able to use Soundid to integrate vst's such as Studio session analyzer from Flux audio. I'm also waiting for a lite version for the measurement which would allow in a few pulses to have an idea of the effect on the placement of the acoustic panels, the distance of the speakers with the wall... in order to optimize the setting up of the home studio equipment.

Necesitaba más contenido por el precio de la actualización. El producto sigue siendo excelente, pero se ha quedado corto. Hubiera pagado felizmente 50 euros por esta actualización, pero 80 me parece un poco caro

After good experiences with the studio version, I had made the update to SoundID Reference without hesitation. Unfortunately, SoundID ran on my new Windows 10 Pro computer only with problems and then in the end not at all. I uninstalled it and reinstalled Reference 4 Studio which fortunately works without any problems. Maybe I'll try it again in a year when it has a few patches behind it.
