“The upgrade was essential to make it compatible with the new Apple operating system, and I must say that after the update, the program works excellently.”
“In reviews they tend to say: « this product changed my life ! » … Sound a bit cheesy , wouldn’t you agree? Unless… you come across the update of what already was a game changer. Now not only you hear what you mix but with the speaker simulation you can predict the future sound elsewhere! In your car, on your phone, on those crappy phone speakers … i am speechless but full of sound now!”
“Going from reference 4 to ID reference was a good choice. You’ve got more options and the fact that can choose which frequency range should be treated is what I was always looking for. I’m not sure whether my mind tricks me on that one, but I feel like the new version sounds cleaner because it doesn’t blur the sound as much as the previous version due to phase issues. I’m happy”
“I think I need a little more time with the new SoundID version. As of right now, for my purposes, I don't notice a noticeable difference in the actual function of the software only the GUI changes.”
“I upgraded to SoundID in order to use the Sonarworks integration on my Adam Audio monitors. Works like a dream - really easy to follow the instructions when measuring the frequency response of my room. The Adam Audio integration is seamless, and it is really straightforward to import the room profile onto the speaker's DSP. This is an invaluable tool for me in my less-than-perfect sounding room and I'm getting some really nice mixes out of my new setup.”
