“I have been using the Sonarworks Reverence since 2018 and have been pretty excited about it. With the new Sound ID, Sonarworks has done a first-class job. In fact, I was toying with the idea of getting the Mixcube speakers, but with Sound ID, that's no longer necessary, since you can simulate just that here, but not only. Since I don't own a car myself, I am now able to simulate the sound environment of different cars at home and other situations as well. It is a real enrichment for every artist and music producer. Since I started using it, I always get a green light from my mastering engineer. I used to have to boost or cut one thing or another, but that's no longer necessary. Once the Calibration of the monitor and room correction has been completed and activated with the newly made calibration preset, The user should be able to use the calibration method once again to calibrate the effectiveness of the reference EQ that is being applied. ei.
Layer one = Calibrated Speaker EQ Curve.
Layer two = Re- Calibration using a new EQ Curve in addition to the Calibration Curve already applied.
This is a TWO LAYER Calibration System, that corrects the anomalies of the first calculation in the room.
