“Well, I'm very happy and satisfied with the results I got in my studio after using sonarworks.
There was an absurd change in my sound perception.
Before, I had some problems with resonant frequencies inside my studio, which doesn't have a professional treatment and everything, and after I did the calibration with sonarworks, I improved my problem a lot with these resonances, and with all the leftover bass and deficiencies in some frequencies that I end up not being able to hear because of the treatment of the room, positioning of the monitors.
the mixes became more accurate, and I am fortunately able to deliver higher quality productions.”
“This is a game changer for anyone learning to, or mixing music.
The setup is simple, if long winded, but it is worth the effort to get a flat mix even without complete acoustic treatment.”
“This software is amazing! The only thing I would love to change is to allow me to look at my results when I disable the correction without the notification in the middle of the screen letting me know that the correction has been disabled. Can you maybe move this to the side? I also use this to show my coaches and is a bit frustrating to get just the clean results. Other than that small tweak, its an incredible program and am glad to have”
“Great Software. It elevated my mixed to another level. I would say if you don't want to work in a professional studio or don't have the budget and/or space to fix every problem in your home setup, you need Sonarworks. Would recommend it every time. Only downside is that in the measuring process there is no way to redo the last dot. In one measurement my wife did something loud in the background and I had to redo the whole measurement. A option to go one step/point back would be nice.”
“App is glitchy and keeps crashing my system. All of my engineers were excited to flatten our curve and then I look like an idiot because your app is broken.”
“I didn’t realize just how unbalanced my low end was with my 5 inch monitors paired with a 10 inch sub. It was like 6 db over the flat line. Now, after SoundID, working on my mixes is less fatiguing and when I translate from one system to the next my low end is more representative. Which is important for me because I make bass heavy music. Also, the included emulations of different listening devices help tremendously for getting a quick translation check between systems. Much faster then what I usually did, which was rendering out each stage of my mix and listening to them with my earbuds, soundbar, then in the car, guessing what I should work on next from the average of all. This makes that process not necessary.”
