“I was very surprised to find that SoundID corrected the acoustics of my studio in such a way that I found was very pleasing to the ears. I also found the software to be stable and very easy to understand (including the user interface). I was actually overwhelmed at how tight the sound sounds in the studio post SoundID. It really fixed the main frequency issue.”
“I have to admit that to my surprise this has really been a game changer for me. I'm afraid I won't ever be able again to work without it.
That being said there a couple of downsides; the system often crashes and the fact that in Logic when bouncing it doesn't warn you that it is still engaged, really is a little pain in the ass.”
“Excellent value for money. My mixes have finally started to translate across systems and this is such a worthy investment. Beautiful and easy-to-use User Interface makes it a joy to work with. Even routing audio through real instruments sounds so good and clean. Thank you for a fabulous product.”
“I think it’s great and work brilliantly. The only downside for me is the need to use the plug-in on the master channel instead of just use it as a system background app”
“A short and honest review. The software performs well and has huge benefits but it's a little bit difficult to write music because of the latency introduced. So a high-performance machine and audio IO is essential while using this software, Working on a Mid-2015 MBP I am struggling to write any music while using it because there are a lot of audio dropouts and a huge latency. (140ms). This can add up a lot to the overall latency. Performance-wise I like the calibration done when using a measurement microphone, don't like the available headphone presets so much. Tested on Audio Technica M50X, maybe others are better. Overall the software gives great advantages at a cost.”
