“I think the standalone app could be improved on the backend, I had a few issues finding my calibration profiles after an update, and it seems like sometimes CoreAudio and the app don't work together -- I have to restart coreaudio sometimes to get any sound out of the speakers. The plugin works smoothly.
One more improvement: in Ableton 11 Live, I always get the note "SoundIDReference was not bypassed when rendering...", even if the plugin is bypassed in Ableton. This is a little annoying.”

“I'd give it 5 stars, if the driver would load consistently on my Mac Studio. Otherwise, the software has been very helpful in allowing me to truly hear my mixes. They are translating much better on other systems as a result.”
“I have both the Sonarworks soundID reference and I use virtual monitoring. It allows you to hear very quickly how your mixes sound on different mediums, I particularly like putting it through the "car speaker" settings to save me bouncing and checking my mixes in the car. Definitely would recommend it.”
