“Have used other measurement mics before but this one with the additional calibration files at 0, 30 and 90 degrees have been excellent for various usages. Incredibly accurate too.
Got the soundID package later and it is excellent. Have used for both the Kali lp-6 V2 (2nd wave) and HD600 headphones. The HD600 pair I have always had an annoying 6-8k boost that made everything quite ear-peircing, and they lacked low end. Loaded up the configuration profile for HD600, played some pink noise and adjusted the Dry/Wet dial till I heard perfect balance for the pair I had - played some music i was used to and instantly, i had the set of HD600 i always thought they could be. The Kali set up was easy to do with the very intuitive measuring process (frankly bordered on being a game :D ). Given my non-symetrical set up i have in my room location i was very impressed how the system was able to both speakers to be working together, rather than very clearly hearing two speakers doing slightly different things. Couldn't be happier with the results. Great product.”
“I have used it in a studio a long time ago in Paris and I've decided to install it in my new studio. I was really bluffed in Paris because it allows a nice flexibility in your room. I obviously advise treating your piece well and then to use Sonarworks to correct the last small defects.
In my new studio, I'm a little bothered since the software doesn't work on my computer... I tried to uninstall/reinstall it doesn't do anything.. So I'm waiting for a new computer haha”
“Well it does what you might expect but I found it not as intuitive when it comes to exporting profiles. There are these ... that you have to click on and that was not obvious. Then uploading to my Adam speakers was not obvious either - not a sonarworks issue but perhaps collaborating with the Adam software delvopers could make the whole experience better. I ended up writing a cheat sheet for myself so that I'd remember the next time I go through the process. I did have a trial version before I purchased the license. I got bit with the latest rev not working with my UA Apollo. I searched and found a page that sonarworks wrote for how to properly remove their software and plugins. It was a clumsy process but at least it was documented. Then they tell you to go back to an earlier rev of their software and the links they gave did not work. Once more pass of cleaning their stuff off my mac and then a fresh download, I got it to work. However, it no longer recocognized profiles I had previously created. Needless to say, I wasted a lot of time being an IT Tech. I spent my career in high tech and I'll say we have not come a long way but at least they are trying.”

“Since I started my education I purchased Sonarworks with a student discount, I had some problems with the measuring of my monitors because my sounddrive was in a blocklist. But I couldnt figure out the problem. With a lot of communication with Sonarworks (Thank you so much Zane) I really got a great service from Sonarworks. With a teamview session and a lot of contact trough the service support I got everything working. Love the pluggin so much that I bought the full version because I can use the plugin on several devices. With the student discount you can only use it on 1 device. I love Sonarworks and especially the service support and the way they take the time to really help you when you get stuck in the progress.
After the problem was fixed within 20 minutes I measured my monitors and everything is working great since then. Thank you so much guys for your time and patience and help me solve the problem I had. I really loved it.”
