“I'm mixing with 2 different headphones (DT990 and HD280). While I love them both, each one has a different color. It became a basic practice for me to use Sonarworks on my master channel and switch profiles as I work in order to run intermediate comparisons during my mixing work. So simple and so important. I highly recommend it.”
“I produce electronic music and work mainly with headphones. The software is very useful for me in balancing different types of headphones. It would be nice if you would also include stax electrostatic headphones. Sometimes I suffer from sound crashes when I work with cubase and at the same time activate sound in an external application.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the software and the possibility to change various hearing modes.

“Sonarworks ID is fantastic as it helps me balance my mixes due to how it calibrates my headphones to be flat.
I also love the extra features such as allowing me to hear what my song would sound like in various other scenarios such as in a car or on a laptop/android.”
“I've really enjoyed using Sonarworks Sound ID Reference so far. The clarity in my mixes has increased ten-fold. An invaluable piece of software. I look forward to expanding my studio and eventually opting for the speaker callibration.”
“Installation, setup and use are almost self-explanatory. A very large number of headphones are already supported and a medium compensation curve is offered. Of course, this takes into account the series distribution of the listeners. If you want it to be more precise, you can have your headphones individually measured and receive a customized filter for your headphones. This is fantastic.
You can turn the adjustment effect on and off while listening. That's really good to hear. Extensive adjustments can be made depending on taste. Just the way you want it.”
