“Beautiful piece of oak with really nice fittings. Screws did the job and it looks amazing. Gave it a coat of Danish furniture oil. Which also did the job. Nice, secure and was exactly as described and delivery was very quick.”

“Screws for brackets missing , centre location for end caps is difficult why not provide a centred starter hole ? Screws for wall fixing are 20 mm longer than the wall plugs and far too thick in other words plugs and screws don’t match up !”

“Easy to fit and looks good. I treated the wood with an Osmo interior product which seems to have worked well. I would have given this 5 stars were it not that I found it impossible to find the absolute centre at each end of the pole so the caps ended up not being dead centre. Surely it would be possible for guide holes or centre markings to be made at time of manufacture. Alternatively some clear instructions on how to get the precise centre point.”

“Brilliant bannister but be careful of misleading accompanying photo: I previously bought a 3m bannister with FLAT ENDS, which is very elegant and enables my elderly father to go upstairs safely. He wanted this 1m bannister for the turning at the top. The accompanying photo showed flat ends, and I did not notice I had ordered DOME ENDS. I had to buy extra flat ends for £28. I was not offered a refund for return, but he couldn’t get to post office anyway and I live a 100 miles and couldn’t do it either. So just check your order before you pay! Otherwise great product.”
