“Played 40 years, finally got round to getting a gps assist. Yes it gives the yardages but I went for this one for the tracking data. Cannot get it to work at all with this. Most holes it gives me a random club used off the tee then asks how many putts, hardly ever picks up my second shots. Maybe it’s user error?”

“I previously had a v3 from Shot Scope, and also have the range finder. I moved up to the X5 as the battery life in my v3 was becoming an issue. I am a caddy, and use a watch and scope daily. I like the X5 screen, it's clear and very accurate. The map display and hazard distances are extremely useful and easy to access. If I have one minor complaint, it is that it often loses track of the hole that I'm on. This is easily remedied but just a little bit clunky, going through a couple of menus. I would have given it 5*, if it wasn't for this.”

“X5 Watch works seamlessly with the golf club tags provided. It automatically records swings of different clubs. Watch itself has an excellent display screen, readable even under bright sunlight. Customer support team provided immediate feedback when I requested tee/course correction on my home course.”

“This is my second X5. The options during play eg scoring have expanded and generally work well including tracking shots, clubs used etc. I have been disappointed to find that only about 1 in 3 of the courses I have visited have red tee positions noted. Shots ope suggest choosing the yellow tees and then changing it to red when I edit the round. This means that the par on each hole will be totally unreliable as the red tees are often par 5s usually for ladies when the yellows are par 4s usually for men”

“I have been using the old shot shot scope SS03 for over 6 years. Now I have treaded myself to the X5. Shot Scope is a great range to help you lower your scores. The GPS is accurate and when you download the info onto the app. The feed back and stats it gives you is second to none. Plus NO subscription which I can't believe.”
