“I don't like dedicated golf watches, so the H4 is a nice substitute. All in all, the Shot Scope System is really cool and you get tons of data and there's NO SUBSCRIPTION! PRO's: 1. NO SUBSCRIPTION 2. Easily sits in my pocket. I take it out when I'm over my ball, tap the club, ready to go. 3. Long battery life - if I had to, I could get 2 and maybe even 3 rounds in one charge. 4. Tracks my shots perfectly every time. 5. Displays GPS yardage, front, back and middle of the green which is great. Con's: 1. I wish the screen was backlit, or some kind of backlit option 2. When you "pin collect" (which means after you put in, you hold the H4 next to the flag over the cup and push one of the 4 buttons cooresponding to the number of putts you took), you need to be very particular to push the right button. I wish I could just hold it next to the flag, have it buzz and that woudl be that. (It shoudl know how many putts i took because i tap the putter on it for each putt) 3. I wish it was slightly thinner, than it is. 4. I wish it were USB C, instead fo the proprietary clip. Those are minor cons compared to what you get. Especially when Arcos and Garmin charge you a lot each year FOR YOUR OWN DATA! Go Shot Scope!”

“The H4 has been a game changer on my golf improvement journey - over 18 months HC reduced from 36 to 24.5 and still dropping - I enables me to know my club distances, shot directions/ patterns as well as highlighting performance related to handicap range, strengths & weaknesses. I keep in pocket and is part of my pre shot routine. Sometimes I miss putting data or occasional shot but I do not use to record score. Data geek so perfect for me!”

“Years ago, I had a G3 unit, which I loved, but needed my Apple Watch (AW) for medical reasons. I GOT SO TIRED of Arccos’ LACK of CUSTOMER SERVICE and constant, documented AW problems - that fell on blind eyes and lack of concern. Now I’m BACK and ALL-IN with ShotScope! The hazard distances are still GAME CHANGERS - which Arccos support told me “that would be a nice upgrade,” three years ago.”

“The shot tracking works great, except the sensors you screw into the end of the grip constantly break off. I have iomic grips and they are screwed in securely and the screw portion that goes into the grip snaps off at the base. Has happened on 4 clubs over 6 rounds.”

“I wasn't sure I'd like the watch so got this unit. It takes a little practice to remember to mark shots especially penalties. It's not too hard to edit after the round although there are some quircks. My biggest complaint is putting. It doesn't get good reads on putting and takes time to notice you moved. It will have putts and flag positions all over the place some times.”

“Only used twice so far but so far so good Gives you plenty of analysis if you remember to tap the tag every time Tapping the putter seems a little awkward sometimes especially in a competition while your trying to concentrate Overall a great way to improve your golf”

“Recently purchased, and used for 4 rounds so far. Easily clips on a belt and a simple tap on the selected club end before the shot, allows the locational data to be recorded. Easy to sync with the app at home afterwards and make adjustments if a shot has been missed. The battery only lasts for 18 rather than 36 holes. So far so good..”
