The LM1 is perfect for aspiring young golfers and weekend golfers that want to get better using data. The monitor has become part of my practice routine, and as my coach says, “practice without purpose isn’t practice”. While it doesn’t measure all of the data points that some of the more expensive monitors can, you have all the data you need to know your numbers and gaps throughout the bag. Understanding carry and total distance has helped our game. Pairing that data with the app has been great too, as both are user friendly. I would recommend the LM1 to anyone looking to invest in their game.

When word came out that a launch monitor was coming out for only $200, I knew I had to get one for myself. Previously I've been using a Garmin R10 and although it was already considered a "budget" launch monitor compared to your GC quads and Trackman, it would still set you back several hundred dollars. The LM1 shatters this price point by miles. And although a true budget launch monitor, it performs very well for how much you're paying for it. You won't get a lot of data on this thing but for the average golfer the basics are all that matters. Upon getting mine I find myself bringing and using this more than the R10. Why? Because you just have to set it up behind you and hit. No need to pair up to a phone or tablet to get ready outs. Everything's on the monitor. It's simple, easy to use and works. Again, this is not for those of you who are data junkies when it comes to your swing. But if you're looking for something just to give you the basics and help you out on your distancing and striking then by all means grab one of these LM1s. Only one thing I see that maybe they can improve one, probably give it a longer battery life. Otherwise this is the perfect companion for your weekend golfer.

The LM1 is a convenient tool to carry around, it's only lacking a carrying handle at the top just in case of butterfingers. Works well and the stats provided are reasonably accurate for the price point. Only issue i've faced is when it doesn't track shots at times, probably due to overheating while the sun is shining on it. A quick restart and it's back to normal. The App is a neat tool for me to trace my sessions, data is still stored after multiple device restarts. I restarted the device 3-4 times on my first use of the LM1 each time it failed to detect 3 consequtive shots. For what i paid, and to get an in-built screen, its a very cost effective launch monitor compared to the others in the market.

Great product does exactly what you would expect, easily usable at the range and stands just inside your bay when swinging (one of the things I was concerned about was if it would need to be further back potentially in the walk way in order to be able to register your shots) battery doesnt last as long as I would of expected although that said I went through 240 balls 3h - 3h 30mins whilst close to dying was still working so tbf it is plenty of time for your average practise at the range Overall great product, works well does exactly what it says and at a great price... no brainer

my course has limited flight range balls and the LM1 detects the difference between real and limited balls. Also super easy to bring on the course and get data for your whole foursome. seems to be very accurate.
