Best use of the LM1 is for speed training. It is easy to set up and provides good data for tracking over time. I have found the accuracy when hitting balls to be inconsistent. Some shots that "feel" good don't always show on the monitor with the expected numbers. Distances seem to be slightly longer than I would expect.

Was a bit sceptical because of the price ,however when the product arrived well packaged, intuitively easy to set up and use, and is as accurate as my golf needs to be

Everything works as advertised. Good value. I watched a ton of reviews about this before purchasing and never once did any mention the concept of the loft card. It doesn't measure launch, but calculates distance based on a launch assumption. This is fine. Except the loft assumptions for different clubs are totally wacky and none of them line up with any specs I've seen.

For $200 this is a must have for anyone looking to improve their golf game. For a device with radar capabilities giving you crucial data with a level of accuracy similar if not as accurate as other brands this is easily the best launch monitor for any amateur looking for an affordable launch monitor option.

I have been using a Voice Caddy SC200 for about eight years. With the release of the LM1, I thought it was a good time to replace it. The LM1 seems to provide similar data, with the occasional anomalies, so I have no big complaints about the performance. I appreciate being able to recharge the LM1 and not needing to constantly replace the batteries like in the SC200. I thought it was odd that loft angles are not adjustable with the LM1, and I do miss having a remote to change club selection. My biggest complaint, however, is how difficult it is to synchronize practice data to the Shop Scope app. I have to disconnect my Garmin Approach from my iPhone's Bluetooth in order to complete a synchronization, which is not ideal.

It's been great to have the LM1 provide accurate information for all clubs in the bag. I've only used it on the driving range so far, so the launch and distance info for all clubs has helped refine my club choices when I'm playing a round. I hope to use it during some evening 9 hole rounds to get a better idea of the ball I'm currently playing and whether I can optimize spin and trajectory with my irons. I also like the smash factor feature, but note that range balls often don't produce decent results for someone like me (HC 5).
