“Bought to drive a telescope mount using a stepper motor, for £4 it's not worth the hassle of using a microcontroller. Rather a waste of 99.9% of the Pi's capabilities, but I've never used a Pi or Python before and it took about twenty minutes to get the code running. Excellent!
I was so impressed I have ordered a HQ camera to connect to the telescope too.”
“I placed my order on Friday afternoon with the Royal Mail delivery option and the postman delivered it at lunchtime on Saturday! I also bought the 16mm lens (which is superb). Just plugged it in and it worked straight away with all of the software that I was using with the V2 camera module. Very good image quality. I'm very, very pleased with this purchase.”
“The Raspberry Pi Zero is great for project that need a small linux platform. Remember to get the Raspberry Pi Zero W or WH if you want wifi and bluetooth.”
