“The NVMe Base Duo for Raspberry Pi does what it says on the tin. They managed to cram two 2280 SSDs side by side in the footprint of a Raspberry Pi. Be aware that because space is so tighty, you have to use 4mm hex standoffs, but it all gotes together nicely with the included hardware. The base format is my favourite because it leaves the hat socket and top side of the Pi unimpeded for other activities.”
“I've now got 3 of these and can confirm they boot and run fine with Western Digital Blue SN550 and SN570 (both 1TB) as well as Lexar NM620 256 GB. I've not done detailed speed tests but they are fast and convenient. As mentioned elsewhere, the switch means the bandwidth is shared but does seem to less picky about NVMe units. NB. I've not had any luck with using PCIe Gen3 but that's probably more down to the PI5 than this board.”
