The card arrived promptly and well packaged. As for the expansion itself, it is well designed and come with the required hardware. I was able to assemble the NMVe base and pi 5 stack easily by following a (dated) video. My concerns are that there is little space for airflow and my pi 5 is running at 48C constantly. My suggestions are: 1. Update the instructional videos to reflect current production runs. 2. Put a QR code in the package to direct to said videos. I had to hunt through the Pimoroni site to find it. Shouldn't be that obtuse. 3. Consider perferating the board to allow more airflow. 4. Provide a case (for purchase) to house the Pi 5 stack and base and an additional fan. I'm surprised this does not already exist.

Excellent bit of kit, received even earlier than I had expected. I placed an advance order for delivery some time in April but it arrived right at the beginning of the month. There didn't seem to be any instructions available for it at the time but I had set up a few of their single NVMe boards before and it was much the same. I fitted it to an existing RPi5 system which was using two 500 GB USB SSDs in a RAID1 configuration. With a couple of 1 TB Crucial NVMe SSDs in the NVMe Base Duo I was able to migrate the entire running system (including four VMs) over from the old drives to the new without even a further re-boot! So far working perfectly. Recommended.

You have to love the boards from these guys; there are just so many things you can do with them. The quality is as you would expect from Pimoroni: easy and straightforward to install, no messing around, it just works! I wrote a small piece here: https://ecency.com/raspberrypi/@dickturpin/cheap-nas on what I did with mine.
