The NMVe base works well. Pimoroni technical support (Hayley) was excellent. My fat finger issue was resolved in the best way possible. Thank you!

I like this board out of about 8 NVMe boards I tested. Both Pineberry Top and Bottom HatDrive, Waveshare Top, 52Pi 2 Top and 1 Bottom, and 2 GeeekPi boards v1.0 and 1.1. Pimoroni board works and the bottom side does not have electrical circuits printed so it's safer on a cluttered desk. I liked it so much that I ordered a 2nd board. Pimoroni also is the first vendor to list compatible drives that other vendors references. Thank you Pimoroni for being supportive of the Pi community. The 1st Pimoroni board I got is my daily driver as I'm experimenting with reducing my electricity footprint with Pi 5 4GB and Pimoroni board. You must have Pimoroni board if you plan to use Pi 5 4GB as your daily driver!

It arrived incomplete with missing ribbon cable, so completely unusable. Hopefully customer support will resolve, but an unnecessary and disapointing delay

PIMORONI RasPi5 NVMe based is the best solution to utilize stray SSDs. 750000KB/sec exceeded in Rasberry Pi Diagnostics.

Works wonderfully with ONE MAJOR EXCEPTION which could be a blocker for you! Setting up to boot from NVMe was no problem, however, once booted I can no longer mount my external back-up hard drive (Samsung, 4TB USB3 drive). The Raspberry Pi just grinds to a halt and the freezes when the external drive is plugged in. Works fine when rebooting from SD card and I can copy data to and from the NVMe drive and the back-up drive. So I do this on the rare occasions I need to access the back-up drive. Obviously not ideal and I hope it can be fixed with some update or reconfiguration but I have not had time to look into that. The design is great and set-up easy. Would have got 5 stars if it wasn't for this issue. Only docked it 1 star as this issue is a minor irritation for me. However, if constant access to an external drive was essential then it would have to be 0 stars.
