Installation was dead easy after following the video tutorial. Apart from the speed upgrade its also way more reliable than SD-card and USB stick. Over the moon on how it preforms. Using it with LibreElec 12, and apart from a case that will fit both, it's almost how I want it.

Easy to fit, and worked first time with a 500GB Crucial P3 I had spare. The instructions on the webpage are comprehensive, and the fitting video was helpful getting the flex oriented correctly. After the update, the desktop experience feels quick. For long duration data logging, an SSD is a more durable choice than a micro SD card, especially given the cost of industrial micro SD cards.

The NVMe Base by Pimoroni transforms your Raspberry Pi 5 into a powerhouse with its PCIe extension board, delivering super-fast storage capabilities. Installing an M-key NVMe SSD (sizes 2230 to 2280) is a breeze, and the compact design, complete with rubber feet, makes it an ideal storage solution.

Works as expected with a Crucial P3 Plus 500G on an 8G Pi 5. Now the Pi lives behind the TV downstairs running various scheduled tasks and as a repository for various artifacts.
