The tiny ribbon connector was right down at the bottom of the envelope and I didn’t realise I’d missed it until I got to the step where I had to install it and couldn’t find it.”

“I really like this - it's a quick (relatively) inexpensive way to add NVMe storage. Unlike the official HaT, it keeps the GPIO pins available, and doubles up as a handy base for the Pi to sit on. It's very good.”
“I've bought NVMe Base to set up a Home Assistant with a bigger ROM. It connected to the Raspberry Pi 5 with no problems, but the PCI flex cable was a little finicky, and I had to reconnect it once before it worked.
I don't think the base is compatible with any widely available Raspberry cases without heavy modification, so keep that in mind.
Overall, the base seems well-designed and well-put together, and the packaging feels reliable enough to send by post, for example.”
