“I have two PRi5's equipped with NVMe Bases and ssd memories. Both work flawlessly. The NVMe Base seems most precisely made, as can be said for the tiny setscrews, nuts and nuts, and the Flexible Flat Cable that accompanies it. It is tricky to assemble due to the small size of the components, and a pair of tweezers seem necessary. The Base sits neatly under the RPi board, so the top of the RPi remains free. The flat cable is 'Z' shaped, and has to be pressed into the RPi's PCIe connector and folded back down to the Base's connector and that, I think, is the trickiest - but not impossible - part of the asembly. Moving the files onto the SSD I found deeply puzzling, but once done was obvious. Much better instructions would not come amiss!”
