Really great product but you need to know how to build and complease the kit to use it. Son is excited to play what he called "old school" video games!

Cracking piece of kit. A newbie to the pi world but have learnt loads already. Highly recommended.

Really happy with the 10-inch Picade. Shipped really quickly, was well packaged and assembly straightforward and really enjoyable. Getting retropi installed was dead simple and configuration effortless. I have several retropi setups, but this one is the most joy to play. This was my first look at an arcade build and it has me inspired to try a more personalised and custom build

I had fun building the Picade, the Joystick and buttons feel good and better then my store bought standalone stick. This is a brilliant upgrade from my old set up of Pi and usb stick.

A fantastic kit - especially when bought on offer. Every bit as good as I'd hoped it would be, even my young daughter loves it.

Easy to build, results are great. Sturdy enough to withstand the abuse of a 7-year old losing out on a game of Rampage :)

I received my kit in record time. There was some mixup from UPS part which delayed the delivery (not pimoroni's fault). I received it a week earlier than anticipated anyway. The design is well thought. I had hours of fun trying to build it then even more time of fun trying to modify/hack it to my own taste. I was happy to see that I had some additional parts too. There are clear instructions & many tutorials + video available if you ever get stuck. There are some cool goodies (stickers, pin, poster) Cons: The included video card I received had a broken connector: LVDS connector (the one with the membrane). Luckily, I was able to fix it with some crazy glue & fixing the metal pins with some tweezers.

Really good... pretty simple to build if you take your time, although the instructions were a bit variable in that respect (started off very detailed then I think the person writing it got bored...). Took me about 2.5 hours. "First we'll connect up the LED part of the button. Push the spade connectors on the red and black wires onto contacts 1 and 2 (the ones sticking out of the blue bit), either way round." -- that aint going to work for an LED.. esp. when the description later on plugging in the other end is so insistent about polarity.. That's the only actual error I found though. I didn't use the stickers - was really expecting something that went on the side as a decal but that's possibly me not reading the description properly.
