Very good quality and very quiet as advertised. The shim makes good contact with the GPIO pins and have not had any issues. Happy with the result so far and can't wait to play around with the Pimoroni Fan Shim Python library.

Fitted as per online instructions. Set up software on pi as website guide set out. Worked straight off. Even ran pi with case lid on, fan occasionally ran, but is virtually silent. Have hammered pi hard for 2 days and am now satisfied the fan is an excellent addition to the set up. I am far less concerned now to keep checking running temp and can enjoy pi with a more relaxed attitude.

The best way to keep your RPi4 cool :). The control software works like a charm.

This fan is silent, and I use it to blow on my Raspberry Pi 4 heatsink case. I had to use a 6 pin female header socket to provide a solid connection to the Pi GPIO pins hence the 4/5 rating.

I'm amazed. The setup is quite easy but what blew me away (pun intended) was that this thing is really, actually, truly whisper-quiet! That's not just the marketing department talking. Oh, and programming it is easy too. Just follow the guides published by Pimoroni. Would definitely recommend this.
