“Switched from a Sonoff dongle to this new ZBT-2 and network has improved. Switch was pretty sraight forward. A few deviced needed re-pairing but it was a chance to do a bit of network maintainance while I was at it.”

Anyway, despite the ZBT-2 sitting in the same place where the Sonoff used to be, in a central location away from anything which could interfere with it, automations are sometimes noticeably delayed, or even fail to fire entirely, which never happened with the Sonoff. The only thing I'll say in the ZBT-2's favour is that it's quite pretty.”
Sorry to hear that - that doesn't sound right! It might be worth getting in touch with the folks at Home Assistant if you haven't already - ZBT-2 is very new so it's possible there are issues that still need working out.
