They work well on a 3v3 line from a WEMOS D1 Mini (ESP8266) and have a really great aesthetic, not the big ugly and bulky ones we used to get off ebay back in the day!”
“Nice LED strip, but be careful as the thin wires make it both easy to conceal but also more fragile. I am using FastLED to control them and had to configure the library for NeoPixel, not WS2812, as there is a difference in the order the settings for each each color are sent to the leds.”
