“Really useful and easy. I am on my third and likely to have more projects over the summer. I started with the 'skull' and Plasma Stick for Halloween last year- a breeze in python to let me send bluetooth commands from the phone to change colours or flash when kids arrived at the door . Turned that into a Christmas window display that turns on at sunset and off at midnight. Added a large jar to sit in the fireplace with a red/yellow warm display (driven by a miniature ESP32). The plasma sticks are easy to use with built in support for HSV colours but, with a bit of care and optimisation, the ESP and similar work fine (5v+ground+1gpio).”
