“Nicely manufactured but 2 annoying aspects. Firstly they have not left sufficient room for a ribbon connector to connect to the GPIO header. So I have to file away part of the case to have room. The second thing is that the small adhesive patches to ensure thermal contact with the PI are really cheap and the backing paper wont come off without messing up the whole thing. These two flaws really spoil what is otherwise a nice case.”
“It is well made and has a spare thermal pad so you can reassemble it.
When I touched it, it was warm, so the case seems to be able to escape the CPU heat well.”
“Fine and well crafted product, arrived quickly too. I first ordered the Fan SHIM which was very good too with Pi 4, but after seeing this case, I oedered it to Pi 4 and installed fan to my Pi 3 B+. Excellent products both of them, and keeping temperatures in decent levels - despite both machines doing number crunching in seti@home project 24/7/365 among the Pi 4 being my 'real' computer now too. I recommend!”
