Super piece of kit for moulding/ profiling. Fairly lightweight and well balanced. Well worth the price (less than £100 with the router bits). Service is very good too. I was recommended this company by a fellow joiner and I would also.

The reason my rating is is not 5-star is simply because I have not had the pleasure of using it yet but I was very pleased with the delivery time

I really haven’t use the router that much to date. I’ve played around with it on scrap timber and had varied results with all the cutters from another Trend purchase - the 12 piece starter cutter kit. It’s not a toy, but it is great fun being able to get a whole lot of practical and decorative results. I’ve been able to produce some really great rebates, with little effort, but did initially manage to burn out one of the blades - impatience and ignorance to blame. Take your time, read the booklet and watch/listen to the ‘you - tube’ woodworking experts. It’s a brute, only a lightweight brute, but you have to be respectful of its power nevertheless. Only given 4 stars because I need to get to know this little tool better. Oh!, nearly forgot - the dust collector attachment is superb. Some dust during first cutting instance, but then ‘none’ for remainder of job. I’ve bigger and dearer machines which can’t match this for dust suppression. Well done Trend.
