Makita DUH751Z 18v LXT 750mm/29.5" Brushless Hedge Trimmer Body Only
The cordless Makita DUH750 is a Brushless hedge trimmer which is powered by a single 18 volt LXT battery. It has a 75cm (750mm) blade length and a maximum cutting diameter of 23.5mm. The three-speed selection switch gives you ultimate control for a variety of hedges.
New triple-edged cutting teeth are designed to easily catch and firmly hold branches. Curved blades reduce friction resistance to suppress energy loss. Due to the low resistance run time is increased.

I have been using petrol hedge trimmers for some 20 years and wish they had come up with these earlier. its a revelation , no fumes , less noise and not so heavy. I have used the Makita DUH LXT 750 and found it to be capable of anything I have thrown at it. Best new tool I've bought for a long time.

An excellent piece of kit. Had it for about a month and used it twice trimming a quarter acre site surrounded by privet. Loved it. Just used it on a larger plot which was a bit overgrown and it did well with excellent battery life on 5AH. Not totally convinced to get rid of my petrol trimmers yet because I'm thinking I may need extra torque for hacking back but apart from that they are now my go to trimmers.

Tool quality as expected from Makita. Run time on the single battery is excellent, aided by being brushless. The 750mm may be a bit too long for some, the 600mm will do most home owners but the longer blade makes for easy straight top cuts. You can always get the shorter blade later as they are interchangeable. Even at the maximum end of branch diameter I had no blade jams. The adjustable rear handle also adds to the ease of use. Having gone from a 2-stroke petrol pole trimmer, I have welcomed the noise reduction and the weight loss. Set up and go in under a minute makes hedge cutting a joy!

Quick delivery, used straight away, good length blade for large bedhead,he blade does flex a bit so you have to place it down carefully.. Did jam on some branches, around 12mm thick? But very impressed
